The Chartered College of Teaching, which aims to recognise the commitment and achievements of the teaching profession, has awarded the status of Founding Fellow to Castleford Multi Academy Trust Director of Primary, Jayne Clarke.
The Founding Fellowship (FCCT) is an accolade held by some of the most committed teachers and leaders who have shown a significant and sustained contribution to the teaching profession and their own professional development.

In an email announcing the news to Jayne, Joe Treacy from the Chartered College of Teaching said: “Fellowship is an honour and a mark of your achievements and commitment to the teaching profession. We were impressed by the strength of all applications and in particular your experiences and what you would bring to the Fellowship as a Founder. You are now entitled to use the post-nominals FCCT, which I would wholeheartedly encourage you to use.”
Commenting that she was ‘very proud’ to receive the FCCT, Jayne said: “It’s an opportunity to support the profession that’s been a big part of my life for over thirty-five years. I’m looking forward to being part of shaping the future for teachers and learners across the country.”
