MPS/UPS (Suitable for NQT)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated and able Religious Education Teacher to join our Humanities Department. We are looking for an excellent practitioner to work collaboratively with the department raising academic achievement and ensuring all pupils make outstanding progress in RE across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The successful candidate will be:

Crofton Academy joined Castleford Academy Trust in 2020 and has since been on a rapid improvement journey supported by the leaders of the ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rated Castleford Academy. Since joining the Trust leaders and staff at all levels have ambitiously worked towards improving the quality of education for pupils at the Academy and have responded positively to change. Extra capacity within the senior leadership team has been secured and the academy improvement plan has been sharply focused on the right priorities. At the last monitoring visit, Ofsted commented “Steps have been taken to improve behaviour and attendance and to develop the quality of the curriculum”, therefore this is a very exciting time to join us in our journey to become an outstanding provider.
