Castleford Trust works in partnership with a range of established and accredited organisations to support high-quality initial teacher training across our academies. Our partnerships include The Education Exchange (Welcome to Exchange Teacher Training ), alongside a wide range of university and School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) providers.

Through these partnerships, our academies offer trainee teachers the opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience within academies with a strong culture of professional learning and development. Trainees benefit from strong mentoring, access to experienced practitioners and the opportunity to develop their practice within a collaborative trust environment where professional learning is a priority.

We are proud to contribute to the development of the next generation of teachers and to play an active role in strengthening the teaching profession across the region.
